Here’s how thoughtful colour choices can enhance both work and home environments:
🔵 Blue: Stimulates the mind and improves focus, ideal for office spaces to enhance concentration and efficiency.
🟡 Yellow: Associated with energy and optimism, perfect for creative spaces and brainstorming areas.
🟢 Green: Soothing and balanced, ideal for reducing stress in both work and home settings. Incorporating green plants is a great idea!
🟠 Orange: Evokes enthusiasm and warmth, making it excellent for communal and social spaces, encouraging interaction and collaboration.
⚪ Neutral Tones: Beige, grey, and white create a sophisticated and comfortable ambiance, allowing flexibility in decor.
🔴 Red: Increases energy and excitement. Best used sparingly in areas requiring quick decision-making and alertness.
🟣 Purple: Often linked to luxury and creativity, great for relaxation areas and quiet zones, promoting calm and inspiration.
🟤 Earthy Tones: Browns and tans create a grounded and stable environment, particularly effective in-home settings for a cozy and inviting atmosphere.

We have several excellent examples of this in practice: from the neutral tones below, which create a familiar and calming atmosphere, to our work with @ITG, showcasing how bright orange and blue can foster a creative and collaborative environment while aligning with company colours.
Mood influencing isn’t the only reason for choosing colours. Aesthetics, preferences, and company colours also play a role, but the influence of colours on our overall ‘feel’ in a room certainly has an impact!
