A temporary home for HPE - we delivered a full floor CAT A and half-floor CAT B scheme in Manchester’s Technology Centre on Oxford Road.
Brief
The space served as a temporary home in the city before HPE moved into Circle Square just over the road. HPE wanted to create a space that could home 140 employees and offer quiet rooms, touch down team spaces and a large open-plan general office space.
How we delivered
We adopted a phased delivery approach to the project to provide the client with early access to certain areas of the space.
Our team completed the central core of services during phase 1 and worked through to the general office space to enable the client to move their IT early and initiate systems set-up. From here, the team focused on the reception and collaboration spaces, as well as the install of the specialist finishes with long lead times.
The final phase of the delivery focused on the training rooms and back of house, following the natural route out of the building. We coordinated the install of IT, AV, and furniture for quality control and to ensure there were no delays to programme.
The result
Although a temporary home for HPE, the innovative and dynamic space reflected the company’s core principals and served to attract the best tech talent in the industry. The eclectic finishes work seamlessly together to create the professional yet vibrant feel.
