An open café space designed for work, conversation and great coffee. Built to spill out onto the piazza and bring life to the ground floor of the building.
Overview
Northern Pour is a 12,000 sq ft café located at the base of a large office building, designed to serve both tenants and the wider public. Positioned around the courtyard-facing façade, the space was created to feel open and welcoming, with large glazed doors that allow the café to spill out onto the piazza during the summer months.
We delivered the full interior fit-out and furniture package, creating a flexible café environment that works equally well for quick coffees, informal meetings and longer stays. Booth seating provides more private areas for conversations, while the open layout keeps the space connected to the courtyard and surrounding building.
At the centre of the space sits a bespoke café counter finished in terrazzo, providing a durable focal point while incorporating sustainable materials. Under-counter refrigeration and back-of-house equipment were also procured and integrated as part of the fit-out.
How we delivered
Our design team worked closely with the client to bring their vision to life, hosting interactive design meetings and workshops where finishes and furniture samples were reviewed. A comprehensive look-and-feel document was produced to guide the project. We ensured a seamless handover to our fit-out team, providing both the design intent and detailed technical drawings. The fit-out team managed the façade replacement, full interior fit-out, and decoration, followed by our furniture team, who installed fixed and loose furniture and styled the space. The project concluded with a smooth handover, complete with O&M manuals.
