We thoroughly enjoyed developing the concept loose FF&E specification for Affinity Living’s Resident’s Lounge within the developer’s new residential block on Embankment West.
Background
Working to a tight budget, our design and FF&E team worked hard to propose value enhanced solutions without compromising the desired look and feel of the scheme.
How we delivered
We began work on the FF&E specification following a thorough brief-taking session with Vita’s design team.
Over a series of design workshops, the team proposed manufacturers and products to the client for sign-off, before proposing fabrics and finishes through the creation of a coherent scheme.
The industrial feel of the space required softening through the proposed furniture and accessories, the colour palette therefore largely focused on warm, earthy materials with pops of rust and turquoise to add interest.
The result
The space now offers to its residents a fantastic privately run café with outdoor seating, a bookable meeting room and comfortable lounge areas. The vibrant artwork and natural, tan tones of the furniture perfectly complement the building’s raw finish.
Vita have thoroughly enjoyed Dragonfly’s holistic approach to interiors and their professional attitude. They have provided a service which we look forward to using again.
