Citypress, the only UK PR agency named as Best Small Company to Work For by The Sunday Times, moved to Union House. Their business was expanding and needed a dynamic new workspace with the capacity to accommodate their future growth.
Brief
We were instructed to take the project from Stage 2 through to completion, providing M&E services, full interior decoration and turnkey FF&E package.
What we delivered
As the landlord was still completing CAT A works throughout the building, we carefully coordinated the works with the other contractors on site to ensure a seamless install. Now a very popular solution and cost-effective alternative to acoustic panels and walls, acoustic spray was used across the entire space to ease the usual reverberations in a large open plan office. Our scope also included the creation of 5 industrial style meeting rooms, a 15-metre bar, snugs and an open-plan auditorium and event space.
The result
The finished space is vibrant, homely and has since been ranked in the top 10 of the Inspired Spaces North initiative in its search for the most inspired workplaces in the North. It is a professional environment with the flexibility of its users at the forefront. Citypress have also put their own stamp on the space, with a polaroid photo-wall of every member of the team greeting you in their impressive reception area.
The views from floor to ceiling windows and loft-style high ceilings have created an airy but homely feel. Everyone who visits comments on the WOW factor of our reception area.
